Looking for a good one for HOT weather. I see Golden Lake has one they call a "breezy" that's all mesh. Are the mesh backs cool enough in the heat? I like the looks of the all mesh one Golden Lake sells (breezy) but wasn't sure if the mesh sleeves would fade out at a distance (to the dog). I currently use a fishing shirt.

Any mesh backed jacket with just a sports bra underneath... ;)

golden lake garment or bubba's
I hear they are cooler without the bra and unzipped in the front.

They are real nice. I have purchased one and it is the ticket.

The Golden Lake "Breezy" jacket works well for our group.

I use caped back Supplex shirts in hot weather (own 5), lots of stores carry them such as Cabela's.

Kelly,

I HIGHLY recommend that Bubba's Gear jacket I had on the other day out at Airline.

I think you might be able to get one from that dealer over in Slidell. The guy who runs it is Jim Morris. I can't remember their exact name, but it's something like Waterdog Supply or something like that.

It's cool with a mesh back and easy to get on and off. Let's face it...in our heat and humidity, almost anything with long sleeves gets hot, so I like to be able to get it unzipped to vent.

I've been real happy with it.

Do you have to wear a white shirt under the Breezy? Do the mesh sleeves look white enough with a tank top?

A training partner of mine has one and the mesh looks like a solid white at a distance. I have black version I use for Hunt Tests that works well.

Kelly take a look at Roche Jacket model 1810MD its very light for hot weather with an open mesh back to it.
