In the first picture he looks so sweet, and calm. I was thinking, Cosmo - really?

Second picture - little more like it.

Third picture - AHHHH now THERE's Cosmo! Lord look at those ears!

Kinda looks like a progression don't you think.

1)- Ok, I am at this quail and looking at you...

2)-Running off...but where is the bird?

3)-Ruh-Roh...licking the lips...uh, where's the bird??!!

BTW, he did not eat it...just looks that way:cool:

Thinking about a log chain...tied to a log! May slow him down...may.

keith,
i was showing a 25% cosmo bitch of mine to a mutual friend of yours and mine recently. she came off the truck, too excited to air, heeling tight enough to knock me down. i picked up a bumper and her skin started quivering and as we walked she inched further and further ahead. i stopped reheeled her gave a verbal sit and threw the bumper, she crept four yards on a hand thrown, back yard bumper with her back arched and her tail never going down. i denied her, went and picked it up. i stick sat her and threw again....same deal. i called her name, she kicked a rooster tail, slid past and picked it up on way back.

our friend says, "i want a dog with that kind of desire! tell me john, where do you think you lost the control?" i said, "dude you would be shocked to know what we have been through to get to the level of control you just witnessed!"

for the pup in those pics, buy some really good welding gloves!!!!

Mild manner time is over. He just finished a few 30 foot retrieves with his elongated tennis tube thang wrapped in a pheasant wing. On the last retrieve, while holding him back, he proceeded to gnaw my hands (obviously in protest about my efforts)...oh boy.:)

By the way...he is not the first Cosmo dog I have had a part in training. Tex is a Cosmo dog out of a Viking female...Tex ain't half bad:

Derby list w/15 points
QAA with a 2nd and a 1st
Open placements...1 1st, 2 4ths
Am placements...1 3rd, 1 4th

I like Cosmo dogs;-)

You got it "sit" doesn't mean "sit" to my little Cosmos guy. You really have to work at it.:)

Keith,

I had to do a double-take and click this thread to check.

This dog has no relationship to Jim Harvey's High Point Open Champ "Juice" correct?

I would imagine Jim's PM box and phone lines may light up about this.

It's kind of funny. The other night my son asked me to get him the Mango Sunny D instead of the original. The next day, my wife told me to bring the bottle to work - Sammy hated it.

Moral of the story: Not all Juices are alike.
