Jerry Day has informed me that Dogs Afield is taking orders today. Jerry assures me that the "first batch" of orders will be signed by Danny. Whoa...Whoa! This is a tight community that we're all in. Shayne has been VEEEERRRY supportive of RTF! Please do not take this as a jab at Shayne or at EE in any way.

Shayne has absolutely been supportive of RTF. Fact: If he wanted to, he could have had an EE.net discussion board long ago.... He's left that piece to us here on RTF.

I consider Shayne a brother. Like any brother, we've jabbed at each other a time or two in the past. As Tackett put it to me during a recent brotherly jab that he and I shared, He'd take a hundred @$$whoopings from one of his brothers. I feel that way about Shayne (And about Tackett).

Jerry Day has indicated you can order your DVD directly through Dogs Afield...I ask that you consider doing it in support of an RTF sponsor. EE has been a good friend to RTF. I will do all that I can to continue that relationship.

Good points Paul,

I'm the son of an Identical Twin father. I can tell you that Don and Doug are constantly in competition... It's been that way for 65 years. I expect it will never change. Nobody, and I mean absolutely nobody better get in between Don and Doug. The only one that can punch Don is Doug...or vice-versa. And if anyone else tries to get in that mess....watch out because you've got a united front of two guys that look alike, and you're in trouble with both of them.

JS, Thanks for pointing that out. The link is not on there yet. But if you contact Jean or Rita, they will take care of you. They are taking orders now. The DVD's are not ready yet and all that folks are doing right now is pre-ordering.

Jerry did not indicate when the link will be on their site to allow for online ordering. In the meantime, they are ready to take orders now...but for us antisocial computer nerds, it will require talking to a live person!

There will be many places to buy the DVD. Hopefully at Cabelas and Bass Pro if Tackett has anything to do with it. I buy from Dog's Afield, and i'm personal friends with Jerry Day. I'm all for supporting them.... and RTF of course.

I offer the DVD on EE as an additional service for our customers. Many people use it every week to enter an event, so i figured they'd like to add that to their order when they pay for their entries. If not, thats cool too.

Just having a little fun on Shayne's behalf. No doubt he's a big supporter on RFT! Probably order two copies, one for myself and one as a gift.

Speaking of RTF sponsors, my trial dog and my youngster both feed on Enhance Pro Athlete. My trial dog has ben on it over a year and looks very healthy. Very good dog food and once I got the portions right, not that much stool.
