I am rehabbing from a total hip replacement, three weeks yesterday, so
I am a little out of the loop.
Is there a Del Bay Picnic Trial tomorrow 11/27 and if so where is it going to be held ?

Hi John.

This is Mike from Connecticut who went to your picnic trials last year. When I was there I had already had my hip replacement. My hip is great now. No pain and it works fine. You will see improvement every day.
You will kick yourself in the ass for not doing it sooner. Hope tosee you at future picnic trials. Maybe I can talk Pual into coming? Have a fast recovery.

Reminder - Del Bay has 2 remaining picnic trials in 2005. The first is Sunday, November 27, 2005, at the C&D Retriever Training Area. Ted Finley is coordinating this event - his phone number is 302-678-8583. The second picnic trial will be Sunday, December 4, 2005, at Rebel Ridge Farms. Lyn Yelton is coordinating this event - her phone number is 410-885-2671.

Please call Ted or Lyn if you can help in any way. The trials start at 8:00 a.m. and the cost is $10.00 per dog + $10.00 per handler - so... if you show up with 3 dogs the cost is $40.00 ($10.00 for each dog + $10 for you).

Hope to see you there!
Lois

Mike,
There has been a shifting of the responsibility for the Picnic Trials, but I would expect that there will be the same number in the spring at about the same time of the year.
The locations may change so as to be more convenient for some of the club members who live in down state Del then again it may not.
John,
Stop around next weekend,( http://delbayretriever.tripod.com//map.rebelridge.pdf ) and see what is up. It is very informal and can be a very good training day.

John, has Proffesor Ken given up the joys of putting the picnics
together?
I look forward to the Feb and March events.

Good luck on your rehab. I'll see you in the Spring as I
jump back into these games with both feet.

Bert
