just a note fwiw.......in my limited experience when i have watched the test dog run and said to myself, "no problem!" i am very likely to have an "eminent problem". be careful about what may appear to be "easy". good judges will get you with an unassuming bird placement everytime! when you least expect it.....expect it!;-)
Ditto....never, never under estimate a test!! Well I guess everyone else can ;) but I sure won't! I've gone out on my fair share of "just a double" setups!!

Along the same lines as the last few above, you can also get so fixated on what YOU think will be the problem bird, that you fail to help your young dog get the whole picture. It hurts bad when your pup succeeds at that which you believed he could not do, then go out on the "simple" second because you rushed past that one when you showed him the test. :(
