We went this past weekend, and the easiest way to describe it is WOW. Not many places on earth available to do what we did, in 2 days. We had a great mix of handlers and dogs. From black labs, a yellow dual CH lab, a few Goldens and a bunch of Flat Coat retrievers.

If you've never been, you should plan on it. Preparation is a must, not all dogs are ready for this type of workout.

Here is my version of the 2 days spent, on video.
Day 1.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWMll0ZEj3E
27 minutes

Day 2.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-pC4NwZXJA
39 minutes

I edited out a lot of swim back, kept some for my reference.
Comment, critique, criticize if you must. We are only trying to improve as we prepare for the next test.
Enjoy.

And a special thanks to Sean and Sherree, for being great hosts.

Looks like fun. I didn't know there were any Dual Champion Labs still alive.

John
There are no Dual Champion Labs; right now, there are no living DCs of any retriever breed since the recent untimely death of DC AFC Yakity's Shake Rattle & Roll (Comet, Linda Harger's CBR). Thinking he probably meant CH/MH.

I mis-stated the dual champion.

Yellow dog is a show CH and working on his HRCH, currently a Senior and Seasoned titled dog.

My apologies if I offended anyone.

I've been participating in the blind challenge with our club every year . I wouldn't miss it. Sean and Sheree are two of the nicest knowledeable people/ trainers you'll ever come across. "Home of the 50 yard blind"!

Sean and Sheree are the best. I actually attended 2 of the Challenges this summer. One to help fill a group, and one with our HRC club. I learned a lot about how to read my dog from Sean, and also how to become a better handler. Every blind there is "50 yards"...If you ever get the chance, I would highly suggest it.

I use a Kodak Play Sport camera, with a tripod usually. Has a 16 gig memory card. I had several hours of video to edit through to get these, and it was holding 7 gig free space.

Camera is able to video underwater, but I haven't tried that yet. Cheaper than GoPro, I bought this before the GoPro came out. Battery life is good. Easy to download. As for sound, most all will pick up wind noise if in that environment. I like this bc it fits in any pocket easily, and a gopro doesn't from what I've seen. Downside to this camera is it is not compatible with a remote on/off device, so more editing is usually the case. It is smaller than my S5 Samsung phone too.
