I have horses and dogs so my dogs love to hang out in our barn where the hay and straw storage is.
I don't really like them to lay in the straw area because the chaff (I've no idea if this is the word for it) of the straw tends to get into their ears and they are sticky and don't come out anymore. I had some bad earproblems because of that. I prefer them to be in the hay!!
