Dogs at play remember.

Home from work and it is a beautiful afternoon. As i lounge on the lawn the dogs zoom around me. Sniffing, peeing, running, just happy dogs.
A motorcycle passed by. Not even, more of a scooter of sorts. And it backfired as it downshifts for the curve. The five month starts bouncing in circles. Looking for the duck. Someone must have tossed a duck. That is the duck sound.
And the five year old who I happened to be closest to just sat! I was stunned! I tossed my cap and released him. Super good dog belly rub.
It's the little things like this that make me smile.

What have you seen your dogs at play do?

Walking at sunset in a large recently mowed field with my two dogs and the smell of fresh cut grass as they run big looping circles, side by side, neck and neck, occasionally exchanging friendly nips at each other but mostly just enjoying running wild and free.

We have an absolute infestation of rabbits around the house. My dog likes to point things. She knows better than to break and run after them, but every time a rabbit darts off in front of her she locks up and picks her leg up. She has no idea what she's doing or why, its just her way of dealing with the situation. I get a chuckle out of it each time. I think I let her hang around the GSP's too much as a puppy
