My TT remotes were stolen awhile back. I bought some used Dogtras and Gunners Up wingers. They work fine on the GU's but are not strong enough to release my Zinger Wingers. They will activate the solenoid when not cocked but will not release when loaded. Seem to be too weak of signal.

Dogtra was no help saying it's a winger problem. I told them they worked fine with TT's but could only speak with the secretary. they wouldnt let me speak with a tech. (great customer service).

I finally got hold of a Dogta rep and he recommended new bateries. He said the newer Dogtas are stronger and a stronger battery should fix the problem. I have serious doubts but ordered them anyway.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks,

Kirk

I did not have release issues with my wingers (not zingers), but did have some battery issues with mine. The batteries, after about a year, would only hold a charge for one training session.

Dogtra made it right with me since they were still warranted. Maybe a bad batch of batteries!? I'm assuming who you bought them from took good care of them?

Dave:
The Dogtas seem to be in working order just weak. The guy I bought them from has ceased any communication and only sent part of what was agreed upon. I don't know how old they are but seem to be in good shape.
Pete Fisher, from Dogtra called me this morning and was very helpful. He said stronger batteries should solve my problem but , if not, Dogtra will work with me to get them operable.

I really appeciated the personal attention and have a new respect for Dogtra customer service. If you have a problem with Dogtra talk to Pete. He's a good fella.
