FIRST AID SEMINAR
The Yadkin River Waterfowl and Retriever Club is planning a First Aid seminar with Dr. John Sherman on Sept 11 at 12:00pm at the Alamance Wildlife Club near Mebane, NC.
Dr. Sherman is a graduate of the North Carolina State University School of Veterinary Medicine and is a pioneer in the field of veterinary physical rehabilitation and has designed conditioning programs for numerous Field Champions and National Open/Amateur finalists.
He is the recipient of the Upjohn Award for Small Animal Medicine and Surgery. John is a noted speaker in the fields of sports and canine rehabilitation.
His discussion will include but will not be limited to:
First aid for various accidents
Treatment of hyperthermia (overheating)
Warm up cool down
What should you carry in your first aid bag
