And to KG, no need to get churlish.
Had to look that one up, Julie. :wink:
"churlish"
adj. 1 of a churl or churls: rustic (doubt you meant that....);
2 like a churl; surly; boorish
3 stingy or mean
4 [Now Rare] hard to work or manage
Had I chosen to be surly, boorish, or mean, I'm fairly sure I'd have been more aggressive, but that wasn't my intent
in the least, so I didn't do that. I
do believe you've overreacted to my post.
Lots of open and am winners get threads posted on the regular RTF forum by their friends...
While I think "handfuls" is probably more accurate at this point, my post was to suggest we do that for ALL AA stake winners.
Bad idea, you think?
...wouldn't you hope if you had an AA win someone posted a thread about it?
As long as it ends up on the results page and more importantly, the EE event results and the AKC website, I'll be happy. I'm sure Fred and Missy are ECSTATIC (as well they should be), and I can assure you that if I'm EVER fortunate enough again to have a dog that's AA competitive, I'll be ecstatic if he PLACES, much less WINS. If he's got a cheerleader or two, that's fine. I'm suggesting that ANY dog what wins an AA stake deserves a cheer or two. THAT is what my post was about.
You disagree?
