A few days ago, my doctor provided a diagnosis. It seems both shoulders will receive an injection of
Cortisone. The diagnosis of frozen shoulders had nothing to do with the fact that winter was when the
diagnosis was pronounced. Painful hints of the issue began to surface last spring when attempting to
shoulder and shoot a shotgun at the line in HRC tests. The shotgun was not the cause. Being almost 83
years old does not help. The injections will be completed on March 22nd.

Yesterday, I began the seven different exercises that is a proven therapy. I figured being proactive might
be a good idea. They are not fun. (n)

Note: Running AKC tests will be somewhat easier. A wooden gun can be pointed with one arm and there
are no shells to be shucked. :geek:

I just turned 60 and have had 3 left shoulder and 2 right shoulder surgeries beginning in 1978 with the last 2 years ago. I didnt do the rehab as diligently as needed and have 2 frozen shoulders. Hunting has not been an issue, but throwing birds adds a few pinching pains. Ill do almost anything to keep from having another operation. except quit training or hunting!

HRC with a documented Health issue such as this, you can have a substitute shooter, just have you Dr. write you a note.

Well, I went to the doctor for an examination and there was a sudden change in plans. Several days later,
I came home with a pacemaker in my chest.

Today, I have three Illinois turkey permits that I cannot use. (n)

In addition, my driver's license expires before the safe time for a test/renewal.
