"-- Eukanuba Labrador Retriever Formula is designed to nourish a
Labrador's healthy joints, weight, and overall health. The formula
contains natural sources of Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate to
help support their healthy joints and mobility and L-Carnitine to help
them burn fat. The Golden Retriever, Flat-Coated Retriever, Curly
Coated Retriever, and Chesapeake Bay Retriever will also benefit from
this food due to similar physical characteristics and nutritional
needs."

Interesting that they tell you "43% less fat" for overweight dogs but nowhere do they give any percentages relative to L-Carnitine, glucosamine or chondroitin sulfate. My guess would be minimal at best for those ingredients.

WHy do I think these popular-breed specific formulas are a marketing ploy? Call me a skeptic.......... Ditto the Royal Canin.

i'm more than pleased with NutriSource, and its local for me too. Euk has gotten too many bad reviews by trusted sources i know for me to ever feed it to my dog.
