Anyone have any good suggestions for FC studs in Iowa or near Iowa. Seems like most of the good litters come from studs in Missouri and Minnesota.
I just started to think about my next litter and was considering something different this time around so I'm open to suggestions. My bitch is out of Ramblin Man and a Cropper bitch. The last litter we had was with my own male that is out of a Moon River bitch and Easyrider.
All the pups went to hunting homes and I was very happy to have them all spoken for by 5 weeks of age, which was 1 week after I advertised. You might wonder why I want to mess with what worked before but I don't do it for money. I have four kids under age 8 and a wife that all love puppies and it is rewarding to see a family take home a puppy you know is going to make them happy.
I'd prefer a yellow male as my female is black but will throw yellow and I like a mixed litter as it is much easier to find a fit for someone set on a certain color and gender but for the right bloodlines I would also consider a black male.
That's enough rambling. I appreciate your input.
