So, we had some bulbs bite the dust and I did the usual. I went to Sams, and bought as I always have a multi pack of the highest output bulbs avaiable.
HUGE problem. The bulbs work but they have to warm up fpr about 5 minutes to get to full brightness. This is ok I can turn them on before doing anything in the morning or 5 minutes before last outs. HOwever when the old lady needs to go out in the middle of the night there is a huge delay on having light flooding the dog zone. Another issue is that when the old bulbs go in my motion sensor lights I don't want or need useless bulbs that won't be at full light for any delay.
What kind of bulbs will actually do what the old bubs have always done?

Menard's or Lowes should have what you need. They are called Instant On CFLs. They are more expensive then tradition bulbs or CFLs but deffinatly worth the money. I use them on my motion lights and in my shop!
