I am having a litter of pups. I have people all over the country that are interested in these dogs.
What airline will fly them?
What should I ship them in?
What are some things that I will need to do/Know?
Thanks
Steve

What ever you do dont fly them through Atlanta (esspecially on Delta dont know the other airlines) but they lost my dog for over 3 hours and couldnt tell me if he was on the flight he was suppost to be on or if he was on the next flight (I had to drive 3 hours so had to know) they where not helpful at all and finally had to yell at Atlanta and tell them to personally walk down there and find my dog luckly they did but I have heard this a lot from them. I know that Delta in Bloomington and Portland Oregon where great and I highly recomend them but Altanta was horriable so do not fly them through Atlanta.

I shipped 2 pups through Atlanta this year with Delta and everything went great. I think what happened Steve could happen anywhere. A lot of flights with Delta end up going through Atlanta. I do think Delta is the best way for my area, Northwest is really my only other alternative and they are not any fun to work with.

I have had good and bad with Delta but still use them. I recieved a pup today from Kansas City and everything was great .All my flights come thru Atlanta because of where I live so you take the good with the bad. I think it can happen with any carrier we are all humans and things can happen out of our control.

We use Continental when at all possible because it takes the temperature variable out of the picture. Their animals are all kept in climate controlled environments so you don't have to watch www.weather.com biting your nails the week prior to shipping pups wondering whether the weather will cooperate or not. Been there, done that!

ps We flew through Atlanta last week on Delta and it was smooth sailing.

When we had a buyer in Canada, it was a lot easier to just ship to a State in the US that was close to the area where the buyer was. Then the buyer come over and pick the pup up.
