I have had a lot of persons from out of state inquire as to what they could do to help us in California fight AB 1634. Remember, if you dig in here, you might not have to fight it in your state.
One person just called the California Travel & Tourism Commission at 919-444-4429. She spoke to a marketing person called Heather Hudson and told her why she personally would not travel to California if AB 1634 possed. Nor would they retire to California. She was asked why she called the Tourism Bureau and she said she realized that Bureau took a big interest if tourism dollars were lost, and the Tourism/Travel Commission could pass it on to the Governor/Government that if AB 1634 passed, California would lose money.
The receptionist there said they had had lots of emails stating that. The e-mail link is [email protected]. Formal name is the California Travel and Tourism Commission.
Also, if everyone of you sent a check for $10, or better yet for the cost of an entry fee, to either PetPAC, P. O. Box 1019, Sacramento, CA. 95814 or Concerned Dog Owners of California at 22647 Ventura Blvd., #108, Woodland Hills, CA. 91364-1416. State this is for opposition to AB 1634.
Thank you for helping us so that we will be in a position to help you if your state is gone after by PETA/HSUS.
