Russ,

I suggest you start typing your letter to Christian. I can't speak for these guys, but my gut tells me they'd probably like the whole spectrum, from QAA level to entry level, in each session....

Don't write yourself out...

But you RTF'ers better get on it quick, because I promise you the Waterdoggie folks have already submitted about 5 dozen and Christian's mailbox is likely getting full.

- Straight lines,

Chris

What will they be working on??? What's the format?

Angie,

For the amount of detail involved in your two sentence inquiries, I am of the opinion that Roger gave a pretty darn detailed format.

If you want more detail in response, you probably need to ask more detail in your inquiry!

I bet Christian would be a good source for more detailed info...or Tackett, or David Carrington, or any one of the trainers mentioned in Roger's announcement.

This little Joe Black pup is doing well.... 8)

I guess the answer to this could be about 3 pages long but I will take the easy road and make it short and sweet...

We have 3 trainers coming in per session. Each will work with 4 dog/handler groups. One will work with young dogs, one with transition, and one with an advanced group.

I'm not a trainer so I'm not exactly sure what drills they will be doing. That is to say that the trainers have complete freedom to follow their normal training/seminar format. I also believe that the trainers will tailor their seminars to the needs of their group. This is another reason that we are going with such small personalized groups...we, and the trainers feel that they can address the needs and work more individually in a small group such as this.

I think that it will be a great time and look forward to meeting everyone that attends...

Thanks for the question!

Ang,

The fellas will have time to work with everyone on what they'd like to get some help with. I'm sure they'll even work on some things that they don't necessarily feel they need help with too.

We've done this type of format with a lot of success quite a bit. It works good and hopefully everyone gets something out of it.

Come on over and you and I will do some SRS stuff. We are going to eat big, and have a bunch of fun.

Thanks,

JT

I have sent a PM but will post this anyway, is there a way to attend and observe with no dog if you are willing to pay?

Scott,

You don't have to pay a dime to come watch and be involved in discussion etc. without a retriever. But, unfortunately you'll have to cover your lodging and food expenses.

But, please fell free to come and roam from group to group or stay with whomever you'd like. Look forward to seeing you there.

I know there has been a lot of people write and ask if they could bring a video camera.....you bet. The reason Avery wanted to do this was to help as many as possible.....

I understand that some people may think there is some kind of hidden agenda....Avery finances the whole thing from trainers fees to lodging, all the way to pro-staffers for support. There will be no speech's about use this product or that product....it's not a sales pitch at all. No one is going to hit you with a bill at the end for anything. Knowing Avery/Mack's I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't a nice care package included??

Thanks,

JT
