Up for discussion is Redgate's Cool Joe "Ice" He turned 2 on December 18th. He ran three derbies last fall, making it to the last series in all three trials. He earned a RJ and Jam in two out of the three trials.
He is Sired by FC AFC Joey Zoom Zoom, and His Dam is Redgate's Coal Fired Yeti. If you know anything about Zoom, you know he was one impressive animal. His Dam yeti ran in two Qualifying's, earning a jam in the first one adn winning the second 51 dog Qualifying that she ran. She just started running in the Opens last summer/fall, finishing several. She is an excellent marking dog with laser focus, and is a tremendous bling running dog.
Ice has inherited his mom's laser focus and for his age runs really really nice blinds, taking cast and changes direction really well. Not that we encourage it, but he has a huge water entry as well. He continues to make strides in training and is showing great progress.
Ice has been in training with Steenburgen retrievers since June of last year. He will continue to stay in training with Seth up until the time he is sold. He is currently down in Texas with Seth. If any potential buyers would be interested in keeping him with Seth, he has said that he would gladly keep him in training.
Ice has only been trained as a Field Trial prospect, and we are really looking to sell him to a Field Trial home and prefer that he stay in training with a FT Pro. We will be somewhat selective on where he ends up.
