The Dakota Hunting Retriever Club is hosting a FUN HUNT in Adrian MN. Located in the extreme SW cornor of MN.

DATE: Sunday April 23rd...the Sunday after Easter. Begins at 1:00pm.

The site will be at Midway Park. Email me for exact directions.

It is $10.00 per dog. There will be a wienie roast afterwards.

Wear Camo/hunting attire, remember gun saftey, air in designated areas, have fun!

What exactly goes on here?

a Fun Hunt is set up like a "Mock Licensed Test" or a "Club Trial", clubs call it different things. It is set up like a real test scenerio or hunting scenerio.

It is a perfect opportunity to practice in a test like environment if you compete, or a great opportunity to work your dog in the off season in a true to life hunting situation.

They will set up a Started level test with option to run Seasoned level. You just let the judge know if you want two singles or a double. There will also be an option to run a blind. You are "judged" on what you participate in. ie, you do singles you are "judged" on singles.

You get a pass/fail score and will recieve a club ribbon for a pass.
