I am not trying to pick a fight here, I just am curious.

This Grand seems to be dropping a lot more dogs than the last couple. I know some guys who have done really well at the two or three previous Grands, but went out really early this time. I have no opinion to whether that is a good or bad thing, I am just curious what is different. From some of those that ran this year, I would like to know your opinions. The last I saw was about 12-13% of the dogs made it to the 5th. Opinions?

there is nearly 50 going to last series.I looked on another board and I think someone did the math from the past grands and tis one seems to be right on and not yet close to the toughest grands as far as failure percentage.I thik the average pass rate is around 15 percent or so.I have heard nothing but good from the people I know that ran but it did seem that there was one particular mark iin this grand that seemed to knock out most of the dogs.(not knocked out by one mark but the mark caused most of handles and is reason for marginal scores)

I saw her post too. If we are talking about the same post, then she said that the average pass rate of Spring Grands is 19.6. This one is only 12.46% by the fourth series, so it is at least harder than average.

Aw, but you would be wrong, at least for the 'northern' located dogs that don't get much of a chance for water work, prior to the spring test.
