How are the grounds looking. If the water is too high will you move the test or reschedule it?

Thanks Alicia! Will wait tomorrow for an update as I was going to call Joe tonight.

I know someone who was very close to the test site just the other day. They were delayed getting back home because a road was washed out. This is the worst rainfall New England's had in years!! (like you didn't know eh? )

Hunt Test is Cancelled

Please see below from Joe Miano, cross posted in RTF:

Cancellation of GSHRC HRC Hunt Test ? 20/21 May 2006

GSHRC HRC Hunt Test ? 20/21 May 2006 is cancelled.

The property that we use for our hunt test is part of an Army Corp of Engineers project of flood control that diverts water and controls releases in an attempt to prevent flooding in large parts of central New Hampshire. The property is being utilized for that purpose. It is flooded.

Two club members and a Corp representative checked the location today. The Corp representative informed the club members that water would remain for at least a couple more days and would probably be released during the weekend, if possible. We will not be granted access.

Granite State will contact all that had planned to attend personally, including judges, workers and those testing their dogs.

Those that submitted checks that have been deposited will have a club check cut and sent to them.

Those that we have not deposited their check will have the option of the club secretary destroying their check or having it returned.

GSHRC apologizes for any inconvenience that this change may cause.
