A great dilemma has finally been solved. It has long been a quandary that if you buy Bumper Boy products you can't effectively use birds to train with and if you already own Bumper Boys and wanted to buy a Winger you would then need to purchase a totally separate set of electronics.

Problem Solved........Gunners Up is proud to announce that all Gunners Up launchers can be made to be "Plug and Play" with Bumper Boy electronics with the new BB Conversion Kit. This is a kit that literally plugs into the “Motion” plug-in on your Bumper Boy electronics and then plugs into the Gunners Up launcher. It also comes with a mounting plate and two strips of Dual-Fast Velcro for a strong and convenient electronics mount solution.

The Kit is $30.00 and works with all winger brands!

You can order yours @ 888-530-4441 (8:00 AM-5:00 PM CST) and request the BB Conversion kit.

Good Luck and Good Training,

Wow, that is great! So now we can have BB sound with a GU launcher? The wingers work off the BB electronics? I was just posting about my TT releases not working in one of our training gorunds due to the radio towers. Our BB's do however work and I bet this would solve the probelm as well as make wingers more affordable for those who already own BB's because they will not have to buy electronics for their wingers.
Great thinking Richard

I have been using my bumper boys electronics on my wingers for a long time.

I simply ordered a new wiring harness for the bumper boy and soldered female plugs on the end of each wire. Depending on which BB you have you can run a gang of 2, 4, 8 or 12 wingers off of one receiver. Very good when training with a large group at a station that doesn't need a bird boy.(you can use the sound if you need gunner help for the dog)

I have my BB electronics mounted on an electric fence post and run extention cords (from Radio Shack) to each winger.

Works a treat.

Nice that there is a conversion kit, but I have been running my Gunners Up and Zinger Winger off BB elect for over a year. I bought extra receivers so I can have a quality sound at each gun and I can use my remote retiring gun at a winger too. I use the regular BB wiring harness and attach to the same wires as the BB firing servo. Take a short servo extension wire from any hobby shop (use the futaba brand to make sure the fittings work) cut off the male end, plug the female end in to the BB wiring harness. Then attach the wire of the extension that is lined up with the yellow wire of the BB wiring harness and attach it to the center of the 1/8 inch RCA female plug (be sure to get the mono plug, NOT stereo). Then attach the wire that is lined up with the red BB wire and attach it to the side of the RCA plug. Be sure to attach them and test fire your winger before soldering the wires down. Ignore the third wire of the wiring harness.

What I do is attach another unit plug that is attached to a servo on a single shot shotgun that is attached to the first firing position. Then I can get a shot PRIOR to the launch, then fire the bird on the second push of FIRE. If I want to retire the visable gun, I have a pole with a servo attached to the motion position of the BB receiver that will drop the white viny panel; behind a small portable blind. I did have to buy a motion plug from BB to make that work, but it was pretty cheap.
