But here is some trivia for you --
The artist is Phillip Crowe. He was a FTer, and the owner of a Corky-son FC-AFC Canis Major's River Bear.
Back in the very early-'80s, Cai and John Trzepacz were looking for a pup down from their famous Corky and chose a pup out of a litter by Bear. But Parkinson's was rapidly claiming John's life, and Cai felt sorry for the dog not getting the work and attention it needed.
So she gave the pup to Terri Veach, and it grew up to become FC-AFC River Oaks Way-Da-Go Rocky, a national finalist.
Chris Atkinson has always postulated that the field-retriever community is actually quite small, even when you combine all the venues. To me it is stories like the above that prove him right.
