Has anyone had any experience with Banner or any of his offspring? Banner is not titled is he? Is it likely that he will eventually title? I am considering a litter that will be sired by him, but I really don't know much about him. Any input would be appreciated.

He was the 2005 High Point Derby dog w/ 84 points. He was the 2006 high point open dog. He had 5 wins, 1 2nd, 2 3rds, and 1 4th in the open. He had 2 qualifiying wins @ 26 months and an amateur 2nd @ 29 months. He is yellow factored. And yes I would say he is the real deal! Bill Hillman trained him thru the derby, Scott Anthony bought him and I believe ran the amateur and qualifying and then Kippy Swingle bought him and put him with Dave Mosher where he had his open success.

I believe some of his offspring are entered in a Derby this weekend down South,,,,,maybe FL? I am assuming he was bred right at the end of his derby career. Interesting to see what his offspring do. His brother was on last years derby list, #5 I believe, and does not age out until June of this year.

CC, where have you been? Banner has became a household name. He came on strong at the end of the trial to claim the high point open dog last year. I am sure you will not be disappointed in a litter from Banner. I would check the bitch line! Good Luck CC!

I don't see his name on the CNM white list. Not that this changes how competitive he is but it would explain why I'm not seeing many litters.
Call the owner. Numerous people have asked the owner when she is going to test.

Interesting that Banner's sire is also the sire of Canadian Top Junior Dog for 2006 as well as a repeat of Banner's breeding has the #5 Derby dog in 2006
