My young dog (12 months) seems to have started heavy panting and drooling in his box. (Stainless Two-hole). And we load up to go train pretty much everyday. It’s not causing any issues but would love to help him relax and be more comfortable.

I have tried short trips in the truck cab to see if he reacts the same. He will still pant more than normal but it doesn’t seem as bad as in the box.

He does not vomit or anything. Just excessive panting and drooling. Is this a motion sickness thing?

anyone had success curing?

Over-the-counter Dramamine?
Vet prescribed Cerenia?
Other thoughts?

Withhold his normal meal. Start truck, put dog in box, and feed him in there. Don't feed him anywhere else except in that box with the truck engine running, but truck not moving. Just keep feeding him in the box with the truck engine running for a week at least.

Then do the same thing except start driving. Dog in box, meal in bowl in box, drive a couple of hundred yards.

I did this with a female I got when she was 8 months old and it took her about two weeks to be totally comfortable in the box.
