Edge failed to hold the sidehill, drifted down into the bowl and hunted forever before recovering and picking up the bird. Trapper faded with the wind, went ass over teakettle in the high grass covering the small ditch and ran straight downhill once finding his feet. After 20 yards realized he was going the wrong way and came back up and picked up the bird. Peat nailed the marks but cheated water so bad I think he met a Californian on the way. All in all a pretty good weekend....course the biggest problem was the red jello. Jello babe could have told me green jello is the key to winning, that would have been good info to have on Friday...

I have a daughter of one of those siblings that I think is really nice. When I handed the last bird to a recent judge, he said, "That dog is awesome." That was better than the ribbon.

I would argue that Kip's avg points per trial is higher than any amateur in the game... but his wife is so good looking that no one notices his dog success.
