Maybe it shouldnt matter because I dont plan to breed him and he is only just over 1yr but he is black and his mom is black out of 2 blacks.His dad is yellow out of a yellow and black.Would my boy be yellow factored or just black..Thanks

Thanks for the info. Can you not just tell by the color of parents and grandparent?Its not worth right now for me to have to pay for that test so just curious.If you cant tell by the genetics then I will just wait..Thanks again for the link,I will hold on to it.

Fowlhunter You can't know for sure if both parents were black, unless you have them tested. But if I read your post correct your dogs sire was yellow, if that is correct then your black boy would be yellow factored

Agree, automatically yellow factored. Any color bred to yellow will either be yellow or yellow-factored.
