so my question is - Does the MN bylaws dictate how the club holds the vote? IE; BOD or membership. My guess is no ,given both options are already mentioned in this thread .
so - next question - does your club's by laws show how the vote is to be held?

Our club's by-laws pre-date the "Master National Experience". :) so they don't say anything about how to vote in it.

I suspect many others will be the same.

The way our club has done this is let any member(s) who are qualified and going or at least qualified for the MN to cast the vote for the judges. We figure they have earned it and are the ones who should have the say.

Don't know if this is right or wrong, but it makes a lot of sense to us.

A membership vote at a meeting. Those active in HT who know the judges are asked their opinions in an open meeting.

BOD votes, but they do solicit opinions from those members who are actively training and running in HT.

In the past BOD, but this year we sent out to the membership. Not much interest except a few members that have responded. Sent via email and we tally a vote via email replies. About 10 have responded including BODs.
