excuse me I wanted to vote but I didn't play games before hunt tests arrived, so how do I vote? I don't get the choices....remember I'm old and blonde so type the explanation slowly.

I began attending FTs as a spectator beginning in the late '70s.

But I didn't start playing until HRC HTs came along in the mid '80s.

I still have not competed in FTs, although I have regularly used my dogs as test dogs for the minor stakes.

Peake, HT verses FT is something like AKC and HRC/UKC.
You ask anybody on the street what the letters AKC mean, for the most part they know. Ask themm about UKC or HRC, never heard of it.

Most people understand FT is a competion with one winner, Ask the same question about an HT they never heard of it.

I was one of those people until I had Hawk FF'ed and Lynn tells me he should be running hunt test. My answer; "what's a hunt test"? Well she explained it all to me and well here I am on RTF.

Now having a fire breather regards.

I was a gun a DesPlaines a few times in the mid eighties but never ran a dog in trial.A Field Trial friend was gun captain for his club and invited us to shoot a few times.I don't remember Hunt Tests being around then.If they were I didn't know about them.I think you either did field trials or just hunted your dog.I just hunted my dog. That field trial stuff looked like alot of work.It was fun to watch though.
