Do we need to drag up from the past???? I've been here since '03. I don't recall us doing it hardly ever. Do we have nothing new to talk about, debate or discuss????

*Sigh* :? The times have changed indeed.......

What city? My dad owns a 200 acre property, with a 50 acre soil conservation lake south of Ft.Worth.

I need someone to train with during the week.

Well...I went hunting doves with my dads company Tyson Foods, and we could never fun the birds in the sunflower fields. From then on, my dad and I always wanted a hunting dog. There was a trainer out near where my old ranch was, his place is called Cline Line. Got my dog there when he was about a year old. Used him for hunting for about a year, then sent him to another trainer for about 4 months. Got him back and used him during waterfowl season. A buddy of mine got a dog then I got back into training and these test. My buddy got rid of his dog, but now I am hooked.
you can call me and train with us anytime you want.We train around alvarado and in cleburne and another place in burleson. We usually train in morning but train every saturday but would be willing to help in afternoons some with you.I could go throw some for you and you for me.Let me know.
yes I am familiar with Cline.you didnt buy a box from him?lol deerskin is the best.
Yep. I realy want to train in the afternoons after school. My dads property is not too far from Burleson, its in Midlothian.

I would also not mind training every now and then on the weekends with a group of guys if I am not busy.

I am almost done with the swim by, then I will move into the field.

Anyone else around the Grapevine,Southlake area that trains during the week?
very familiar with midlothian.Hope you can find someone local and wish you best of luck.

No did not buy a box from him. I had another ranch that was about 10 minutes from Deerskin, went over there and checked them out. Liked them alot, so we ended up walking out of there with one.
Hope your dad was not the Tyson guy who took us to Stuttgart a while back. He shot OVER Kennel Boy's head, and it could have gotten ugly. luckily, KB is a gentleman. ;)
Well... he has been to Stuttgart before, he went once. When did yall go? Do you remember the guys name?

MSdaisy...do you work in the food industry?
I don't work in the food industry, but my business partner does, or actually did. He owned 32 of the most successful Popeye's in the US (Love that chicken), but he didn't sell their chicken. They wanted him to! Tyson is a big name around us anyway because of the growers and the plants, and my father was a State Legislator, so we know a lot of the folks who are involved locally.

It was a good trip, and it sounds like your dad knows how to hunt - this guy didn't.
Cool.

My dad hunts every now and then for ducks, but loves to go out for doves and other birds. I doubt it was my dad, but glad every one is OK.
