How to find a club

1052 Views 7 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  DerbyDude
I am new to the retriever thing, but I am interested in finding a club close enough to my home that I could actually be a part of. I have tried searching on the internet. I have come to the conclusion that a lot of clubs either are not listed or the types of dogs the club deals with is not always a "Given". Anyone know of any good retriever clubs north of Sacramento, CA but south of the Oregon border, kinda northern central location?

Thanks

he following is from their FT premium:
The Lassen Retriever Club has served Shasta County and the surrounding northern California counties for several decades. As a 501(c)(4) non-profit corporation , it was formed by people who were dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of activities and events related to their retrievers.

Search Entry Express for towns you would like, the trial locations are held east of Anderson, CA 2 1/4 miles from I5 on the north side of Panorama Rd
Their also is a hunt test club, Marin Retriever Club, located 12-13 miles south of Oroville on Hwy 70. The map of the grounds for the test site is 1.5 miles east of HWY 70 on Lower Honcut Rd.
Where do you live? Google Earth shows the distance as 17 miles from Oroville to Hightest.
