I'm glad to see you're wanting to give of your time to become a judge. We need many more like you that are givers and not just takers of the sport. Where are you located? I sujest you go to the HRC web page and make a list of all of the clubs president within __X__ miles and send them a letter to let them know you are interested in becoming a judge. Unless they know you're out there they can't invite you to judge. As a club president and test chairman I try to use atleast 2 apprentice judges each year. Some years I'm unable to find them but atleast we do make an attempt. Unless we take advantage of apprentice judges ther will always be a shotage.
Thank you for stepping up.

Ga,
Thanks for steping up and becoming a HRC judge. Like Al mentioned, I too try to find a least 2 apprentices when I'm looking for judges for Big D HRC. Unforunately Started is one of the hardest to become a AA or License judge. There are so few openings and many clubs try to get their own people in to judge. Like Al also said, let your local or maybe not so local clubs know you are available to judge.

Once again, thanks for becoming a HRC judge - we need more of them.
