Wind is blowing the tops out of the trees. There is a big storm coming. We are going to stay home and take the day off. The additional rain will be great but pls keep the hail, floods and other terrible things nature can do away. Some predict 4-5 inches of rain.

Going to make pancakes with Ken Bora's Pure Vermont maple syrup for breakfast. I just received the syrup in the mail on Sat. Thanks Ken.

I make, and sell, only Pure Vermont Maple Syrup.
Maple Grove is a sad blend. They get in trouble every
year 'cause of labeling issues. Like the time they
printed "Vermont Maid" instead of Made in Vermont ;-)

.
That's kinda' scary Ken,..if they don't know what's going on with the outside, how do they know what's going on in the inside of the bottle? ;-)

Wind is unbelievable here. 5 footers on the lake!

I have to agree about Ken.s syrup. Too lazy to make pan cakes this morning. Put it on oatmeal instead.

We got yall's storm yesterday afternoon and last night. After blowing about 40 all afternoon, the snow started about 7:00 last night. Got a foot up on the mountain and 5" down here in town. Now its bright sunshine and almost 50*. But, its my one day off and there is snow or mud everyplace I could go to train. :(:(:( Rotten old husband took off to ski and I'm sitting here staring at this computer trying to shake this big chunk of writer's block off my shoulders.

actually Carol, you might have gotten ours...it passed thru here on Sat but was way too windy to drop much rain, hit my brother in Durango less than 8 hours later and then you guys in Taos....at least thats the normal precip pattern for the southwest....if it rains in SoCal, Durango gets snow within 12 hours during the winter

We just had a big storm this weekend its moving east. Dumped snow in Ca and northern AZ brought rain winds & cooler temps to the desert.

It has rained three inches so far and still coming down. Looks like it's going to rain all morning and into the afternoon some. Rain is apparently widespread. No damaging hail in our location.
