I would like to know if there are any upcoming hunt tests in WI. I would like to run our pup and get his JH and possibly advance further into the game. How many events would we have to attend to get the required number of passes? I know it is based on how the pup performs. but in a best case scenario, he passes all tests. How many events would it take? Thanks for the input.

You can do an events search on AKC.org or sign up for an account on entry express.net, (which you will want to sign up for events anyways) and search events there.
On the AKC website you need to lookup and read the rules for a JH test to know what to train for. Short answer, you need pass 4 events for the title.
I saw you are from New London. Join the Manitowoc kennel club, they are a great group and will give you many answers to more questions you will have.
Also, in the future you probably want to post general questions under the general discussion area, the event area is usually for specifc event questions and updates.

JH title is 4 ribbons/passes. If you were to attend two events that offered double juniors (one on Sat and one on Sun), and your dog earns passes you would get your title. So, best case is that you get your title in two weekends.

As the other poster suggested, you can search for events at akc.org or go to entryexpress.net. The rule book can be viewed at akc.org or you can buy one from the AKC on the website.
