The Eukanuba web site didn't have any mention of the recall as far as I could see. Entering the term recall in the search box returned "no match found" I would have thought it would be a web page head line.
Not very professional
Before you bounce a company you may want to take a closer look. On both the Iams and Eukanuba sites there is a VOLUNTARY RECALL OF MENU FOODS tab. On Eukanuba it is on the lower right. They are very aware and very professional.
