CK's Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds SH (FC AFC Chena River Chavez x FC Lulu Lulu Lulu)

Pedigree can be seen at http://www.goldenoakkennels.com/pedLucy.cfm

Breeding will not be done till January. She should have her master title by than and a few cracks at the qual. Lucy is two for two in the master right now. She had 9 derby points in limited trials. She has a ton of drive and is extremly fast, she loves to mark but is not the best handling dog in the world. You have to make sure you line her up straight. She generally runs very straight lines. Very sure she is straight black. She is OFA excellent, elbows normal, eyes cerf clear. Need to get her CMN test done.

Ideas and input welcome!

Thanks

Not a bad choice.

It is noteworthy that a Tiger McBunn son and a Tiger McBunn daughter finished 1st and 2nd in the Open last weekend at Chattanooga.

If you are breeding in Jan. pick the dog that wins the Natl. Open
That could be a problem

Chavez had a lot of sucess when bred to Abe bitches. If frozen is available -Hawkeyes Candlewood Shadow. If you're not afraid of line breeding on Maxx and I don't think you should be Banner offers a pedigree that includes an Abe bitch. Banner would be an excellent choice.

Banner was accually a thought of mine. Another thought was Gimme Five more out of Tiger Mc Bunn and Fat Lady Zingin.

Try to get to some FT this summer and see if there are some dogs you like.
I picked Ford as my stud because of his track record as a producer BUT also EVERY dog I saw run that is out of Ford I REALLY, REALLY liked. As an added bonus I got to see Ford run and had great conversations with Sam.

GOOD LUCK with which ever stud you go with.

I've bred to Auggie 3 times and worked with numerous pups.

Depending on this bitch (I haven't see her) it would be a nice match.

I would not breed an overly sensitve dog to him. But anything with balance and you are likely to get some EXTREMELY intelligent stylish dogs.

Most of the Auggie pups you can't "ride hard and put up wet" but if you give them a chance and teach them, they are usually quick studies and you'll be a very happy camper.

I did have one litter where most of the pups turned out to be fire breathing dragons and that was with an Abe granddaughter.

Creek Robber or Code Blue Son with a great bitch line is a great choice, I would give Cosmo a strong look as he is a nice pairing to your bitch, Jamie (Frozen semen) or a son like Rough (FC AFC Small craft Advisory) would be really interesting. If you breed to Rough please PM me as I would consider knowing more about your bitch to place a deposit.

I know someone who is going to be breeding to Rough with a nicely bred bitch, QAA. Line breeding in certain respects. If you PM me your email address I can forward you the bitch's pedigree and her owner's contact info. The female is yellow.
