My retired gun worked great yesterday.
Introduced Hank to the retired gun by shooting a single (about 150 yds) with a black colored WZ II that was difficult to see. White coat was up on launch but dropped immediately after Hank was sent. Hank did great.
Shadow was introduced to it on a double. White coat was dropped on the memory bird while enroute to the go bird. Shadow returned with the go bird, lined up for the memory bird. I could his expression, What the what? I know there was a white coat out there. I sent him and he retrieved the memory bird with a short hunt.
So, we had a good first intro to retired guns.
