Hello,

My name is George, and my family and I will be getting a Golden Retriever pup in about 6 weeks. I have grown up with dogs and trained my last dog in agility, but it has been at least 20 years since I had a puppy, and I have never trained a retriever. My 7 year old son and I went out to a retriever club training day last weekend and had a blast. Hoping to learn a lot in the next few months and guide this pup to fulfilling her potential. Welcome to the forum George I wish you the best with your future pup.

I will offer you a bit of advice that I wish I had received a few years ago.
Find out if this pup will have full AKC registration the day you take it home. If not, pass on it and look elsewhere for one that does.

i hope you are exciting for your pup and you will be do better guide this pup to fulfilling her potential and when you get your pup so please send me some pic together your pup i am waiting for that day...
