Very Sad situation. Perhaps should be posted in other section or sticky, but I am posting here first for visibility (moderator?). I sure don't need another dog, but this tears at my heart strings that so many dogs are in need of homes now. Don't bother to call as I just called the number and the voice message states "do not call" Just show up at the location below between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

This is very strage...

I was talking to amember of our club who has golden rescue. She said that the rescue from the Dallas area (I think) was going to Ok. to get as many out of 60 goldens as they could get from a puppy mill that was going out of business.

Does this sound the similiar?

I am not aware that Love ever bred Goldens so this sounds like a huge coincidence. I have read the report of the local group that visited the site. There were 45 Labs remaining at that time. Horrid conditions and lousy temperaments. The guy should have been turned in to the local authorities years ago. Although, I don't know what "animal control" is like in Oklahoma. Could be they would have just blown off any complaints.....

Regarding the Goldens. There was a large Auction last weekend in MO( over 500 dogs of varying breeds) where the Golden rescue bought up the Goldens that were available. I know the Dallas area Golden people were involved.

Thank you...I did not realize that it was in Mo...

Well, the really good thing is that maybe these people will quit trying to make money at the breed's expense.
