Kentucky Derby

During the post parade, the minute I saw Street Sense, I told hubbie, "Thats the one", wow that horse just exuded class!!!!!! Did anybody notice the simple gear, plain snaffle bridle and the long easy trot in after the finish? And yes Miriam, what a delight to see a jockey as emotionally involved as he was. No grandstanding there.

No, actually I was jumping up and down on the sofa hollering "Where is he, Where is he???" . When I finally saw the colors making it through the pack I about did a melt down. I have been watching the Derby for over 40 years now, and I still get the adrenaline rush when one of the horses makes a big move like that.

And Mr. Booty, which race did Borel win on a 2 year old? Just curious, he was really something!
