I will be spending the weekends at the lake and I wanted to know if there is any drills that I could use at a lake for handling? My dog is getting bord just going after marks in the open water and I would really like to work on handling.

Thanks,
Peter

1. Send back on a line to an invisible bumper. Handle to a spot you're confident you can throw a bumper to after the dog takes a good cast and before he gets there.

2. If the water's calm enough, throw out a T or TT.

3. Put out a pattern blind. (Advice: Throw the farthest one first, then progress back to shore so your accuracy only gets better with each subsequent bumper.)
