Hey sounds like another fast, lazy, [email protected]@rd of a black dog I know.....

But he'll loose that extra bit of fat soon enough, Bullet returns home at the end of March and back to the daily training schedule for the other dog ;)

The extra weight may tire her out a bit faster than usual when you get back into training, but I am sure once back into training and burning that energy, she will be back to normal. I usually gradually cut back amount of food given to my dogs in times that they are not working off what they eat, usually works good for me.

Just feed less. You control the food. You control how fat your dog is.
Yup, cut the intake half a cup a day. If that doesn't do it over a couple week span, cut it another half cup.

My FCR male is 80 lbs and he eats about a third less than your gal, we let ours eat as many veggies as they want. For dogs as for humans... reduce calories and increase excersise, course that's easy for us Wetcoast folk as we can run our dogs year round.
