Snake River Medicine Man, Chief, is 16 months old. He has had a tough beginning, going from puppy work with Bach Doar, to FF with Sharon Potter. Now here in New Mexico, he has had very little chance to progress. But today we got to train with a super nice group. I can say I am so happy with Chief. He was quiet and well mannered to the line, steady on all the birds, did singles and tough doubles, and really handled his birds well. What a fun dog! Just hope I can get him through transition without my old mentors. Meanwhile, Ralph is trying his hand at running Indy, this is fun! Scout is on the injured list from a cut received from a hike on a glass bottle, but should be ready to go back to work next week. We may not have water, but we are having a great time here in NM!
