I was planning on running Magnolia for the first time, but notice there are very very few entries...

Could anyone PM or email ([email protected]) and tell me why they think the entries are small?

Last event, there were over 100 master dogs total. Right now, there are only 24 dogs entered and it closes tomorrow...

Kristie, I bet the numbers pick up. On EE events it seems the most common day to enter is the last. Memphis derby had 9 dogs entered with less than 24 hours to close. Checked the next morning and there are 31. I'm assuming this is an EE event you are asking about.

I think you'll like the weekend at Magnolia. Nice grounds- good roads- hard working members. Don't know of any particular reason entries would be down.

Because it's opening day of deer season for some and youth weekend waterfowl hunting for others. Hunting season drops the numbers by themselves but EE events usually fill up on the last day.

There is also a demo going on at the local Bass Pro that weekend. Some of the folks involved in both AKC and UKC will be going to help the UKC club put on the demo as well.

i'm a member of magnolia and will be shooting fliers, marshalling, and basically doing anything else i can to get outta work :lol: .

kearney park is a nice place to run and i see some familiar faces judging........early november, cooler weather, and i'm leaving for places north of here for a while the following day -------- well, it's got the possibility for a great weekend........
