We just got close to 10 inches. Probably another 16 or so to come, and winds today at 45 mph +.

Already threw out my back shoveling, had to hire this storm out...

Last weekend we officially got 15” with 6 to 10” more predicted with this storm.

Roads are really slick and the wind nearly blew me off the rode this morning. I’m blaming this on that darn groundhog.

Looking forward to getting some use out of the snowmobiles this weekend though!!

In mid-Iowa they have been without power for 6 days from an ice storm and they won't get it back until next week (electric poles snapped) and now they are getting socked again. At least we have electricity, the Internet, and phone but I still can't find my mailbox.

IT's definately a lion. A little farther north of Nate we're getting ran and all the snow should be melted soon. We have had flood warnings since 9 am. As I was getting in the shower I saw a flash out of the corner of my eye. I thought a light bulb had blown. A few seconds later came the rumbles. It was lightning! I hadn't heard that for a while. Hopefully this will help get the ice off the lakes. Not to train but, put out some nest structures for the ducks. A couple of days ago on a backwater on the river in town I saw a couple groups of scaup, a pair of redheads and a pair of hoodies. The geese have been paired up for a month or longer.

What Winter?

I'm sitting in my office at home wearing shorts, flip-flops and a Tommy Bahama shirt! I'm just looking outside my window wondering who was going to mow my yard.

We are getting much needed snow=water. With water you have waterfowl with no water they go some where else!!!!
Waytuhgo, Randy and Buzz. You KNOW all us River Rats pushed that stuff eastward, so those SOBs would move into the Big Mo corridor when they head north. hehhehhehheh

Hope your back returns to good shape so you can drive west and hunt those whiteys with us, Buzz. We'll need all the help we can get.

UB...thinking the fun should begin in a couple of weeks.

OOPS...PS...Bahahahahah

Since it's suppose to start snowing before midnight, it looks like it will be a lion even though it was sunny and in the low 30's today. I sure hope this winter is over soon!!
