Now with the new short distance walk up requirement what are you guys seeing for set ups? Are the judges using flyers or dead birds? Just curious what you have been seeing.

Ran last weekend, the walk up was a dead bird, left side. Then a flyer at 70 yards on the right and a long go bird up the middle.

Ran two weeks ago, and the walk up was on a flyer, with the second half of the double across some water.

So, one of each so far.

This weekend a dead bird thrown in from a non seen station. The prior series non-walk up they put in a flyer just as close, after surviving the flyer we didn't have a break on the walk-up in the 2nd series, Still I think I'd rather have had the in your face flyer on the walk-up... I would've loved an extra sit whistle/command

2 walk ups so far this year for me. Both were dead birds.

I have had both, one was flyer on walk up, and yeah it is nice to be able to talk to the dog as the flyer comes out with inline double , this past weekend walk up was in 3rd series with dead bird.
