I bought a used max 5000 and bought new LPG & Oxygen cylinders for it, but when I tried to screw on the new Oxygen cylinder the threads on the regulator are larger than the ones on the O2 cylinder. The regulator looks original and the LPG fits properly. Is another O2 cylinder available for them?

Did you try screwing it on in the opposite direction? The O2 cylinders are reverse threaded.

If this isn't it, did you get the standard little red o2 bottles that are usually available in a hardware/home depot type store (opposed to commercial bottles in a welding type shop)?
