Wolverine Retriever Club is hosting Dave Rorem June 29th thru July 1st for a 3 day handlers workshop.
The location is in Fenwick Michigan, northeast of Grand Rapids
All dog/handler teams will be automatically entered in a drawing for a new pro 500 collar donated by Tri-Tronics.
And Purina is sponsoring a BBQ dinner for all participants Saturday night.

I have attended two Rorem Seminars and I plan to make it annual event because I always leave with one or two more tools in my handling toolbox.

I think if you have experience handling an All Age Dog, you will find being a handler makes for a better learning experience. The opportunity to run your dog under the pressure of being under the microscope of Dave and the other participants is equal to or exceeds the pressure that you will feel at a weekend field trial ... and approaches that of a National competition.

I think if you do not have experience handling an All Age Dog, you will find that being an observer will make for a better learning experience. As an observer, you can focus on the many of the nuances of handling a dog without the pressure of handling a dog under the microscope.

Dave is an excellent observer and teacher. He is able to focus on minute matters and convey their importance to you in very clear and concise terms.

If you want to learn more about handling dogs in competition, you really cannot miss with the Rorem Seminar.
