i just looked at the weather and it says LOW 70's!!! through the weekend.

KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED as dogs and handlers are often on the verge of bursting into flames at this test!!! :)

I'm looking forward to hearing how 6 Master tests, 1 Senior, and 1 Junior all share the grounds on Saturday! :D

If anybody can do it, it's the MTARC regards,

Try seven masters... they can do it.

Bringing extra equipment regards,

I didn't realize they'd split the Friday Master into a third group.

9 test levels running at the same time...... ......and we've got the largest total entry we've had in awhile for our spring FT in Chattanooga.....HTs and FTs truly do not conflict.

there are lots of folks coming from "out of town" to this event, I suppose to get their passes for the MN... At least that what it appears.

I'll be working Friday, who wants to help, anybody? It looks like 603 entries for the weekend provided no scratches and yes, they can do it. It is certainly a team effort from the members to the participants. Lets just hope for some really good weather and to remember to have fun. sds

I have one scratch! So 602. LOL I'm going to be marshalling on Friday. After that I'll be all over so I'm bringing equipment as my contribution. Hopefully it will help...

I called whoever was on the letter that was sent out by EE and offered my strong back and weak mind. It will be very interesting to watch how this will be orchestrated. I'm looking forward to participating.

Marty Kress
Dave Kress
Dick Kaiser
Dennis Wilcox
Tommy Fairchild
Erik Gawthorpe

It is OK, we will do our best to change our world to fit into yours.

I haven't forgotten anyone, Eric. I'll miss you all. Seriously.

Our world was changed by TWRA. You stand a LOT better chance of changing your date than we do ours, since Poole Knobs is dedicated to dog training, and the Hiwassee Refuge is dedicated to wildlife habitat. If you can find/think of a way to change TWRA, I'm all ears!

Sure hope your correct on the temps for the weekend. Ive been looking forward to coming down to Tenn for a year now.

Jim
I'm REALLY keeping my fingers crossed. In all the years I've run there, there's almost always a tornado watch/warning, thunderstorm along with 90 degree weather. It will be such a nice weekend (even more than it already will be) if the weather is pleasant!

If you've never been to a test of this magnitude, it's going to knock your socks off. I remember coming home from my first master national and the first test I went to seemed like tiddlywinks. Well, Middle TN is about as close as you can get to the MN without being the MN as far as volume of people, logistics and manpower... You'll be impressed if you haven't been before.

Weather has been super. Got a little toasty today. Everything seems to be going quite well... Kids had prom tonight, so had to leave a little early, but lots of folks stepping up to help and working really hard.

Haven't heard any complaints... Only real "issues" seem to have involved broken winger bands and normal stuff... Nothing you wouldn't see any other weekend.

Sherie can come on and tell you all the details, but the property has a new manager and he's working well with the club. Cleaned out an area they haven't used in 15 yrs (I had never seen it). We're using it for our friday master flight and I'm glad I got to run there. Really nice...

The grounds look the best they've looked since I started going almost a decade ago. They've done a LOT of work, pumped TONS of water and have put in a lot of effort to pull it off. They have a lot to be proud of as a club...
